We believe cards and payments are the most important product line to improve customer relationships and engagement.

Our reasoning is simple: transactions demand customer engagement, while all other products can be forgotten once set up because they often work in the background. With cards and payments, the more transactions people make, the more they are engaging with your service over someone else’s.

We work from the customer’s perspective, designing solutions, experiences, offers and incentives to drive long-term behaviour change and increase engagement. Our approach drives greater primacy, leading to improved profitability, cross-sales and retention levels for our clients.

Our services draw upon our deep knowledge, experience and insights of best practice across Europe to deliver tangible results.

Our Services include:

Driving card usage habit:

Portfolio migration strategies

Customer experience and CRM planning

Acquisition strategies

Product and market expansion strategies

Mixed wallet strategies

Recent successful projects

A major credit card portfolio was experiencing a dramatic increase in ‘non-interest bearing’ balances and ‘spending dormancy’, with a corresponding decline in retention and revenue growth. We identified the likely causes of these issues and helped our client to implement strategies to reverse these trends, reduce the cost of acquisition and improve the growth of their portfolio overall.

A leading European supermarket had expanded its services into retail banking with an exciting market launch, but soon realised that it was not reaching the target KPIs. We worked with them to identify the reasons why and from this, developed a new CRM strategy that resulted in activation KPIs doubling and a 20 percent improvement in usage levels.

A leading Nordic bank was looking to grow their cards business and double profitability levels. Our analysis identified underperforming product lines and targetable high potential growth segments, as well as gaps in their product and servicing processes. The final strategy included recommendations for a simplified product range, a new business monitoring and profitability model, new CRM and on-boarding processes and a migration plan for existing customers. The strategy has contributed to a significant turnaround in business prospects and is helping achieve an ambitious growth agenda.
